The magazine Plongez! was founded in 2015 in Hyères, France. It quickly established itself as a reference media in the field of scuba diving and freediving, with an innovative and multimedia approach. Plongez! is designed as a ‘360° media’ combining several platforms: a print magazine, a digital app enriched with videos, slideshows, and interactive content, a dynamic website, as well as an active presence on social networks. This strategy aims to offer a complete and immersive experience to diving enthusiasts, whether they are amateurs or professionals.

The magazine revolves around four main editorial pillars:
Dream: with spectacular images, adventure stories, and encounters with personalities from the underwater world.
Prepare: providing practical advice to advance in diving, equip yourself, or organize your trips.
Travel: offering reports on diving destinations, testimonials, and tourist information.
Respect: promoting sustainable tourism and the protection of marine environments, raising awareness for ocean conservation.

In 2024, Plongez! celebrated its 50th issue, a significant milestone highlighting ten years of existence. This anniversary issue was an opportunity to reaffirm the passion and conviviality that drive the editorial team, while presenting reports on various topics such as hammerhead sharks in Polynesia or wreck diving in Truk. The publication director, Nicolas Barraqué, also mentioned the magazine’s innovative projects, notably in 360° immersive diving.
