An unprecedented adventure in the Red Sea
Charlotte and Margot, two travel-enthusiast friends, embark on an exciting adventure: their first diving cruise. While one is a seasoned backpacker and the other a tireless traveler, they recently earned their level 2 diving certification (see Dive! No. 43). Though still novices in the world of diving cruises, the opportunity to explore Egyptian coral reefs and swim with dolphins deeply appeals to them.

With 30 dives for one and 40 for the other, they realize they are about to experience something unique: discovering a country almost entirely underwater, with their diver friends and a boat just for them.
Departure from Marignane
The journey begins at Marignane airport, where they realize the difference from their previous trips. Indeed, a diver never travels light! The boarding carts are loaded with overflowing dive bags, safety gear, transport tubes for underwater cameras, and much more.

After a long journey involving two flights with a stopover in Hurghada and several hours on the road, they finally reach Marsa Alam at dawn. The sight of My Jessica, their boat for the week, makes them forget their accumulated fatigue.
