Diving in Marie-Galante guarantees enjoying rarely visited spots. As a result, the seabed is remarkably preserved. The icing on the cake, from January to March, you can dive to the sound of whale songs.
The dive sites here are atypical exploration grounds. All very close, they are located about 10 to 15 minutes by boat. The reefs are covered with beautiful tube and barrel sponges, as well as large gorgonians. Visibility is excellent, around 30 meters on practically all sites. You might see families of lobsters, moray eels, soldierfish, rays, and even turtles which live in large numbers around the island.

Sites to exploreThe Coral Garden is an ideal site for introductory dives. The tube sponges are very impressive and burst with colors.
At the Grand Ancre site, one can observe an anchor completely colonized, especially by numerous sponges, and a fauna consisting of snappers, scorpionfish, anemones, shrimp, and even lobsters.
Moreover, between January and March, divers like to immerse themselves in the rarely frequented spots to the sound of whale songs. It is also possible to see them from the surface.
