When I discovered that an underwater escape game had been launched near Toulouse, my curiosity was such that I couldn’t wait to sign up! Accompanied by two other divers, we transformed into detectives to unravel the mysteries of this unparalleled game in France.

The Discovery of the Escape Game
At the magazine’s editorial office, the announcement of the opening of an underwater escape game in Toulouse raised a multitude of questions. So I volunteered to test out this new experience! Having already experienced a traditional escape game, which is based on solving puzzles in immersive settings, I wondered how an underwater version could work. Is communication, which is essential in these games, adapted underwater?
Curious to see what such a challenge in an aquatic environment would be like, I went to the site of the Argonaute. The ambiance of the story immediately immersed me in the game’s universe: « A Blue Oceans by SSI action team alerted about a network of pirates eager to seize turtle eggs on the beaches of Marsa Shagra, Egypt… ». Our team’s mission is clear: find a case containing crucial data, lost at a depth of 15 meters.
