A unique journey, between immersion and commitments

From the United States to the discovery of new passions

It all began in 1986 when, at the age of 10, Pierre Gobinet left France to follow his father who went to work in the United States. Thrown unprepared into an American school, he learned English through total immersion and quickly became bilingual. This international experience forever marked his path, influencing his choices in sports, professional, and literary fields. It was also during this period that he discovered American-style shore diving, and especially the turquoise waters of the Caribbean where he earned all his PADI certifications between ages 10 and 14.
