Face to Face with Orcas: a new look at great predators
Rodolphe Guignard, a passionate wildlife photographer, sets out to meet orcas to deconstruct the stereotypes surrounding them. Nicknamed « killer whales, » these creatures evoke both fascination and fear. They possess remarkable intelligence and a strong family spirit and are also the largest marine predators in the world.
This documentary questions our ability to coexist with these formidable animals. To answer this, Rodolphe travels to the North Pacific coast, Canada, in the Salish Sea, home to one of the most endangered orca populations in the world. He continues his expedition to the fjords of Norway, 500 km north of the Arctic Circle, where these marine mammals abound. Accompanied by testimonials from experts and scientists, this documentary highlights the different interactions between humans and these majestic predators.
