Photographer Greg Lecoeur and Oceano Monaco reveal the exhibition Poles, Fragile Worlds, in 4 major French stations throughout the summer, as well as at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, until November.
Revealing the beauty and vulnerability of the Arctic and Antarctic, drivers of the proper functioning of our planet and places filled with mystery, is the goal of this exhibition: Poles, Fragile Worlds. In partnership with the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco and SNCF Gares & Connexions, these breathtaking images have been on display since the beginning of July and will remain until August 31 in the stations of Nice, Cannes, Marseille Saint-Charles, and Paris Gare de Lyon.

A world to discover
Documenting, astounding, and raising awareness through stunning images, that is the purpose of these installations. These images are true testimonies to the richness of polar biodiversity – icebergs and polar bears in the north, emperor penguins and icy lands in the south – but also to the climate disruptions affecting them harshly. These distant worlds, unknown and abstract to many, thus unveil themselves to the public eye so that everyone can become ambassadors of the oceans.
Reach vacationers
In the middle of the summer period, these stations serve one of the most visited regions by vacationers! With this exhibition, the organizers wish to reach and unite a varied audience with different sensibilities. Documenting, astonishing, and encouraging the many travelers to adopt more responsible behaviors. Showing them images of great beauty, technically, meaningful, and artistic to make them ponder the future of this endangered ecosystem.
