You have until June 23 to discover the exhibition of Laurent Ballesta’s photos, « Secrets of the Oceans, » at the Théoule-sur-Mer cultural space.
The city hall of Théoule-sur-Mer created the departmental maritime park Esterel Théoule in 2018 by protecting 17 km of coastline. It plans to further develop it for better exploration of biodiversity and effective protection of the marine world.
This exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the richness of this environment. On Saturday, June 15, Laurent Ballesta conducted a conference on-site to present his photos and films and discuss with the public the importance of raising awareness about and protecting the underwater world.
The marine biologist and photographer is currently preparing his next expedition, Gombessa 5. You can find the behind-the-scenes of this preparation and the first images of this adventure in issue No. 22 of Dive In!, available at newsstands on June 28.
