The English manufacturer Fourth Element has achieved the feat with its Proteus II one-piece suit of combining the flexibility of a 3 mm with the thermal insulation of a 7 mm. Made from limestone neoprene with Eco Carbon Black which uses recycled rubber tires and a solvent-free glue, the carbon footprint is minimized. By combining the now-famous Hydrolock inner neck seal and Glideskin wrist seals, water penetration is minimized. The addition of Hexcore panels on the areas most exposed to cold provides extra protection. The flexibility, cut, and internal fabric make dressing very easy.
