1. Know their history

Each wreck is a testament to the past. Understanding its journey helps you convey its authentic story. It also allows you to grasp its size, the condition of its structures, and its position underwater. By sharing the emotions that arise, your photos will gain depth.

2. Organize your dive

Wrecks are often found at significant depths, limiting dive time. During an initial exploration, you might be tempted to see everything: bow, stern, cannon, etc. However, it is advisable to focus on specific shots. Before diving, research and draw inspiration from existing photos to refine your artistic choices.

3. Use the right equipment and lens

Opt for a wide-angle or add-on lens. The choice between a fisheye, which distorts straight lines, and a rectilinear lens, which preserves shapes, is yours. Choose based on the desired effect.
