First steps into an underwater adventure

It’s hard to resist a shoot on the theme of wrecks, especially for a history lover. When Jean-François André, aka “Jeff” and head of Cinémarine, offers Marc Langleur to join him on a co-production, there is no doubt: a new adventure begins!

The meeting is set in Fréjus, on the quay ofAlpha Beluga, the departure point for an intense week of dives. The team is already preparing with an impressive arsenal: cameras, drone, boom mic, not forgetting the rebreathers and all the diving gear. The welcome is friendly and the day promises to be exciting. Jeff, who has led Cinémarine since 2019, explains the day’s program: shooting an episode of the documentary series « Wreck Mysteries », a six-episode saga of 52 minutes each, unveiling world history through forgotten wrecks, filmed in all corners of the globe.
