Au Spring 2024, the Beuchat company, founded in 1934 by Georges Beuchat, celebrates its 90 years of history. To mark this event, we visited the Marseille factory where regulators are made, as well as the design office dedicated to wetsuits, vests, masks, fins, and accessories. You can feel a new and colorful breath within this internationally renowned French brand.
A headquarters in full renewal
Located on the heights of the 15th arrondissement of Marseille, the Beuchat International headquarters was renovated in 2019-2020 to offer a more pleasant working environment. Christophe Margnat, who took over the company in the early 2000s, expressed his desire to leave the industrial area and get closer to the Mediterranean, « our natural playground. » He also plans to move the company to the waterfront within the next decade to become more visible to the public.
