How did you become a naturalist illustrator? At what point and how did it become a profession?

Cyril has a background focused on the conservation of natural ecosystems. His experience at the Camargue National Nature Reserve and at the Vigueirat Marshes sparked his interest in ornithology. As a youth employment worker until 2003, he was heavily involved in creating educational materials and also made panels for the Brenne Nature Conservatory. Passionate about drawing since childhood, he won several contests, leading him to start producing naturalist illustrations for various publishing houses in France.
