Located 500 km northeast of Montreal, the Saguenay fjord is a grand waterway framed by dizzying cliffs. Whether exploring its shores by kayak, motorboat, or on foot, its underwater richness often remains unsuspected. Commander Cousteau’s team explored these depths in the 1980s aboard a diving saucer during a Calypso expedition that led them to the Great Lakes (1).
