Fascinated by the unknown and what remains to be discovered on our planet, Jill Heinerth, Mugdha Flores, and Olivier Testa explore the depths. They bring back from their complex and perilous expeditions, stories to share

The call of exploration
“My pleasure in diving has always come from exploration. Going where no one has gone before is incredibly rewarding, explains Canadian Jill Heinerth. I am full of wonder when I have the opportunity for a unique exploration, to bring back photos and videos. But the true joy mainly comes from sharing stories with others.” This intrepid explorer has spent over three decades exploring and filming, worldwide, submerged caves.
Jill, nicknamed the explorer of the “veins of Mother Earth,” shares her experiences through her films for PBS, the National Geographic Channel, and the BBC, as well as in several works. Her lectures take place in prestigious venues such as the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and the Explorers Club in New York, where she is a member. “I love visiting schoolchildren when I work on a project. It is important to inspire the next generation of explorers. During a trip to Chuuk, Micronesia, I was moved by the students’ welcome and enthusiasm.”
