Surfing, cycling, hoverboards, sailboats, prototypes of all kinds… From October 15 to 18, Dijon will be the capital of adventure: the international adventure film festival, « Ecrans de l’aventure » – of which Plongez! is a partner – is going ahead and kicks off on Thursday at 9:30 AM. From the Amazon to Sulawesi, Patagonia to Greenland, the Carpathians to Scotland, many adventurers, directors, and producers will present their films over 4 days, shot during their challenges.

Of the 18 films being shown, 7 will be premieres, including « Norway, the Feast of the Orcas« , in which diver and co-director Didier Noirot takes us to the heart of one of the world’s largest gatherings of marine mammals: hundreds of orcas hunting herring, in a competition as unexpected as it is recent with humpback whales. In the midst of a rapidly changing ecosystem, Didier takes us up close to the giants of the Arctic and their new behaviors, never before filmed.
In the official competition, this film will be shown on the evening of Friday, October 16. Nicolas Zunino, the film’s producer, will be present that evening to interact with the audience.

The cinema’s capacity is reduced, but it has implemented all the required health protocols to safely accommodate the public and festival-goers (hand sanitizer, mask wearing, social distancing, traffic flow, room ventilation…).
