Covid-19 update in Malta

June 1 marks the resumption of tourist activities in Malta. Vaccinated French citizens (14 days after the second injection) can move without restriction. Those who have not been vaccinated must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test less than 72 hours old.

On May 10, bars and restaurants will reopen on the island, free movement between Malta and Gozo will be restored, and on May 26, non-essential shops will be allowed to open.

50% of the Maltese population has already received the first dose of the vaccine, and the island records one of the lowest infection rates in Europe.
