A must-attend event for all lovers of extraordinary underwater images, the Festisub is a major highlight anticipated each year in Neuchâtel (see the awards of the 2016 edition here). During the 2 days of the 15th edition of the festival, embark on a wonderful journey where the poles will be the focus, from Greenland and Alaska in the north to Antarctica in the south!

Highlights not to be missedThe 400-seat projection room at the Aula des Jeunes-Rives will be the setting for some refreshingly cool moments. The Bardout couple, Ghislain and Emmanuelle, will be present this year, just like last year, to close the first screening night on Friday, March 10 with the 52-minute documentary by Jean-Gabriel Leynaud » Under the Pole: under the ice of Greenland « .
On March 12th, it will be Laurent Ballesta’s turn, a sponsor of the festival since 2015, to present his latest great adventure under the ice of Antarctica after the screenings: he will share in the form of a 30-minute narrated slideshow » Expedition Gombessa III, the deep oases of Antarctica « , information on the life found in-depth under the ice during the Gombessa III expedition (the first of its name aimed to capture the first images of the Coelacanth in South Africa, and the second partially unveiled an exceptional grouper gathering occurring annually in the southern pass of Fakarava atoll in Polynesia); then, to close the festival, the documentary film » Antarctica, on the trail of the Emperor » (56 minutes) by Jérôme Bouvier with Luc Jacquet, Vincent Munier, and Laurent Ballesta, filmed in Antarctica, will be presented.Beautiful discoveries from here and elsewhere for the pleasure of your eyesMany other films and slideshows will be shown during the festival:
