Arthur Guérin-Boëri, a professional freediver with multiple world records, has evolved beyond competition. Now a speaker and participant in documentaries about the marine environment, he shares his passion and experiences while showcasing his creativity.
A Journey Between Nice and Paris
Arthur Guérin-Boëri lives between Nice and Paris, a choice motivated by his love for the Mediterranean. After moving to Beaulieu-sur-Mer in 2020, he settled in Nice, in the Fabron district. Although originally from Nice, having grown up in the city, he also considers himself a true Parisian, having spent a large part of his life in Paris. This cultural blend fuels his creativity, particularly through his project « Clair Obscur, » which consists of nighttime interviews with Parisian personalities.

Freediving: A Passion Born in Cinema
Arthur’s first encounter with freediving dates back to his adolescence, influenced by the film The Big Blue by Luc Besson. This film awakened in him a desire for fullness and calm, sensations he sought to replicate during his stays in Corsica. At 26, he decided to dive seriously into freediving, a discipline that would transform his life.
A Therapeutic Approach
Before dedicating himself to freediving, Arthur was a singer and guitarist. In 2011, while going through a difficult time, he remembered the benefits of freediving as sport-therapy. He began his practice at the Apnée Passion Montreuil club, discovering silence and weightlessness, elements that brought him invaluable well-being.
