Concerned by the excess of waste and pollution, Delphine and Pascale, along with Paul, Marie, and Maud, have decided to take action to reuse used neoprene. From collecting old wetsuits to selling upcycled products, they share with us the adventure of upcycled neoprene.

Preserving old wetsuits
Divers often keep their old wetsuits, sometimes as mementos, hoping to repair them one day, or simply because they do not know how to dispose of them. Neoprene, considered a plastic, is not recyclable! It contains elements that become toxic when burned, and the glued nylons do not allow for creating new clothes from old pieces. However, the parts in good condition are entirely reusable and valuable. This realization led Delphine D’Erfurth and Pascale Puig to found the brand Captain Néo.
