Night 8
Even if the photographic result did not live up to expectations, returning from the dive with a smile.

A night of exploration

At 9:00 PM, the sky is black and silent, illuminated only by the full moon, discreetly veiled. Our boat moves slowly over a calm sea, an essential condition for this night dive. Alongside Alain, Calou, Christophe, Nicolas, Dominique, Hervé, and Yann, we sail between Isla Verde and the east coast of Mindoro, 600 meters above an oceanic fault. Here reside mysterious microorganisms, participating every night in the world’s largest vertical animal migration as they rise to the surface.

Night 1
Heading offshore, in the middle of nowhere over dizzying ocean depths, at night, to try to bring back images of the incredible creatures that rise from the depths… I attempted the experience and, even if the photographic result was not up to my expectations, the atmosphere was worth the journey!
