At the heart of major ecological questions, the ocean is highlighted during this 14th edition of the Ecology Book and Press Festival taking place in Paris (also known as Félipé). Established in 2003 with the aim of bringing culture and ecology together, this festival puts in contact, for two days, curious individuals, media and publishing world actors, independent artists, and associations for marine environmental defense and education for this edition…
Debates, activities, workshops, and conferences will address scientific research (abysses, sea level rise, acidification, waste, corals, biodiversity, oil exploitation…), human activities (food, cultural and sports activities, sustainable fishing) and of course literature (islands, travels, adventures, piracy, novels, science…).
The festival’s preview, held on Thursday, September 15, 2016, began with a conference bringing together Claire Nouvian (journalist, president and founder of the association Bloom, François Sarano (oceanographer, diver, president and founder of the association Longitude 181 Nature) and Christophe Mandereau (fromExpédition Med).
The entire conference is available on video ici.
