A lost paradise, the traveler and diver’s holy grail, indeed exists in the heart of the South Pacific. French Polynesia, a unique land with exceptional natural and human riches, invites you to rediscover a timeless Garden of Eden. Get ready to explore its depths with a rebreather!

In the silence of your rebreather, you’ll be surprised by playful dolphins, huge mammals with tender eyes.

An irresistible attraction

Polynesia exerts a powerful pull. Verdant mountains, white sandy beaches, a festival of scents, colors, and flavors: so many clichés that fuel our imagination. Beneath the surface, the magic continues with exuberant marine life. Walls of sharks, playful dolphins, colossal whales… The diver doesn’t know where to look! Exploring with a rebreather transforms this experience into something surreal. The absence of bubbles and optimized autonomy reveal a new dimension: the ephemeral becomes lasting, the elusive becomes tangible, and fleeting encounters are prolonged. Stay alert, as surprising encounters await you at every moment!

Trip preparation: The art of Tetris

The adventure begins with packing your bags. Organizing your rebreather diving equipment for a trip to the other side of the world is akin to playing Tetris: complex but far from impossible.

  • Bottles: No need to burden yourself with your bottles unless they are carbon (in which case, separate the valves from the cylinders for the flight). Two or three-liter bottles are easily available on site.
  • Computer: Keep your computer with you in the cabin.
  • Suitcase: Choose a large, rigid, and lightweight suitcase to protect your rebreather. Fill the space with clothes or your wetsuit for maximum security.

The flight to Tahiti, with a quick layover in Los Angeles, lasts about 24 hours. Air Tahiti Nui offers divers the option to check in two 23 kg bags each, in addition to a carry-on. You can bring your rebreather without worry! As soon as you board the plane with its Polynesian motifs, the escape is complete. The 100% Polynesian crew warmly welcomes you with a tiaré flower, whose exotic fragrance will infuse your journey. The music and announcements in Tahitian transport you even before arrival.
