Becoming the president of FFESSM, the French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports, may seem accessible… provided you have a breathtaking journey! Frédéric Di Méglio is a triple CMAS world champion in underwater photography. Between 1986 and 1996, he won no less than five French championship titles, leaving his mark on the underwater photographic scene.
Creator, Unifier, and Leader
In 1990, he founded the federal school of underwater photography, actively contributing to the transmission of underwater imaging techniques. Frédéric also took over as head of the national photo and video commission of the FFESSM, which he led for sixteen years. His exemplary management left a lasting impact on the community.

In 2022, he joined the prestigious circle of Golden Trident recipients awarded by the International Academy of Underwater Sciences and Techniques.
