Away from the hustle and bustle of popular destinations, the bay of Puerto Galera presents itself as a haven of peace. Home to nearly 300 species of coral among the most fascinating in the Philippines, this bay becomes a true call to contemplation. It is also a starting point for the spectacular dives of Isla Verde.

A beautiful marine reserve
Located at the northern tip of Mindoro, the marine reserve of Puerto Galera has been considered by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful bays in the world since 2005. With its fine sandy coves and nearly closed creeks, it has attracted sailors since the 10th century, becoming an appreciated anchorage for Spanish galleons. The name ‘Puerto Galera’ was given by them in 1570.
