To highlight the marine life of the Norman coasts and develop photo and video competition at the regional level, a new photo challenge was created: the Trou Normand. It was held on August 7, 2022, in Omonville-la-Rogue, near Cherbourg.
Despite disrupted visibility, participants were able to photograph bibs, coquettes, blennies, nudibranchs, and lobsters. This competition, of which Dive in! is a partner, is the first, hopefully, of a long series and is included in the national calendar of photo events of the FFESSM.
