Scuba Diving magazine has just announced the winners of the 2019 Through Your Lens photo contest. This 15th annual readers’ photo contest offers the best in underwater photography. The contest winners will be featured in the September/October issue of Scuba Diving and today on scubadiving.com.
The annual Through Your Lens photo contest provides Scuba Diving readers with a platform to showcase their best underwater photos in four categories: behavior, compact camera, macro, and wide angle.
For 15 years, the contest has attracted 2,560 entries and showcased breathtaking images from around the world. The winning photos were chosen for their beauty and creativity, as well as their ability to influence and inspire. The awarded photographers capture stunning scenes, but also intimate encounters: a juvenile fish trapped in a jellyfish or a humpback whale and her calf.
