On September 10 and 11, the 17th Monaco Underwater Photography Contest took place. Discover the winners’ list of this 2022 edition.
The contest was organized by the Monaco Underwater Exploration Club. About twenty pairs, divided into two categories OI and ONI*, dived twice on September 10 to take their shots. They then chose 4 photos corresponding to the themes: ambiance, fish, macro, and mandatory theme (explosion of colors). The jury announced the winners during the awards ceremony on September 11.
* OI: photographers using a camera with interchangeable lenses. ONI: photographers using a camera with non-interchangeable lenses.

Children also have their own contest!
Alongside the Monaco Underwater Photography Contest, the winners of the « Children’s Eyes Under the Sea » contest were also revealed. Since 2012, this contest has allowed young people aged 8 to 12 (jellyfish contest) and 13 to 16 (seahorse contest) to share their own shots captured in the Mediterranean.
