The team ZRC is proud to present its latest model: the ZRC North Adventure, a watch custom-tailored for great explorations.
Created from the legendary GF300, the ZRC North Adventure is an extreme version Tool watch … Matte sandblasted case for a more sober & professional look, with no shine or glimmer.
The adaptation of the continuous case with the adoption of a 4mm anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal with a specific treatment on the inside prevents any condensation due to very high thermal amplitudes.
On an expedition, the watch ZRC North Adventure is not just important: it is vital… What better way to test it than in the greatest laboratory there is: extreme and wild nature!
It will therefore accompany explorer Alban Michon during his polar expedition planned for 2018 on the mythical Northwest Passage.
With its extraordinary features (316L stainless steel antimagnetic case, oversized crown for easy handling in extreme cold, anti-reflective 4mm domed sapphire crystal), the North Adventure is THE ultimate Tool watch.
A unique expertise at the origin of proven technologies
ZRC has developed and patented (No. 1462496) the ECS, a unique cleaning system of the bezel interior through clear water circulation allowing the dilution and evacuation of sea salt and dust. The Crown Protection System prevents immersion in water thanks to its retractable lug bracelet. It is impossible to get into the water without first screwing the crown back to its initial position.
The engine is an ETA 2824 evolution 2 movement that we have engineered to ensure its operation at negative temperatures. The seals and oils used are specific. It’s an automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve.
A sporting adventure in service of science and ecology
The aim of this expedition is to raise awareness for environmental protection by sharing the adventure remotely so that everyone can become aware of their environmental footprint. The expedition will allow the realization of three major scientific programs in extreme environments, for which we currently have little information.
