2024, the 120 years of the brand
ZRC watches indeed belong to the exclusive circle of those that one dreams of wearing on the wrist. It has taken four generations, and more than a century, to build the brand image, revealed to the diving world by the iconic Grands Fonds. The story began in 1904, when Edmond Zuccolo and Joseph Rochet partnered. The first was a workshop manager, the second was his first worker. When the first diving watch was made in the ZRC workshops in 1960, there were, among the workers, diving firefighters. Their advice to best adjust the first model to the needs of professionals was then valuable. It was then given a promising slogan: « Designed by divers for divers! » It was in 1964 that the ZRC Grand Fonds 300, in its final version, approved for the French Navy, was unveiled. Since then, the brand has continued to offer true gems of innovation that withstand even the most extreme conditions, having notably accompanied the adventurer Alban Michon during his polar explorations.
