On the occasion of the release of the children’s book « A World of Ice« , come and attend, on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 2:30 PM on the bookstore barge L’eau et les rêves (Quai de l’Oise), a unique meeting: freediver Laurent Marie, founder of the association L’Âme Bleue, Emilie Simon, author, will present the book to their young readers. On this occasion, Laurent Marie will recount his expeditions to the poles, with the most recent undertaken earlier in the year in the Far North.
Since its creation in September 2012, the L’Âme Bleue association has pursued educational, scientific, and sports objectives. It notably organizes expeditions to Antarctica and the Arctic. Supported since the beginning by Nicolas Hulot, these adventures allow for the observation of the richness, fragility, and diversity of marine life and flora.
